My love for the fine arts began at a young age. From the moment I picked up my first coloring book, my grandfather was right there, slapping me (gently!) on the wrist to stay within the lines—fostering an early appreciation for craftsmanship and attention to detail. I went on to earn a BFA in Graphic Design from Auburn University, and later pursued an MFA in Graphic Design at Boston University. While I ultimately made the difficult decision to step away from the MFA program before completion, my time there was deeply formative. The experience allowed me to build on the foundation laid during my undergraduate studies and further develop my personal design practice through intensive studio coursework.

 

I’m a naturally curious person, constantly absorbing and questioning the world around me. My notes app is an organized chaos of words, phrases, lists—an ongoing archive of inspiration and potential. That’s what I love most about being a creative: you don’t have to look far for inspiration, you just have to look closely. 

 

While I enjoy working across a wide range of design disciplines, my personal interests lie in typography and publication design. With a background rooted in fine art, I’m particularly drawn to exploring the intersection of analog and digital processes in my work. I have a genuine love for learning and an understanding that design is an ever-evolving practice. I don’t anticipate finding all the answers—but I’m committed to staying curious and continuing to ask the right questions.

 

My portfolio is a reflection of the things I’m most passionate about: fashion, books, typography, and learning/education. The only things missing are my dog, Cash (Cashy Boy, Cash Money, Monkey, Little Man…he has many names and responds to all), a love for reality television, and a deep appreciation for rock music.
